Yes it does. I pray for Jahi's heart to cease and put an end to at least part of this farce.

HERNDON, Virginia, July 14, 2016 ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) — The mother of a teenager who was declared “brain dead” and had to be transferred to a hospital across the country in order to continue receiving medical care told LifeSiteNews in an exclusive video interview that her daughter gives her the strength to continue fighting.
Nailah Winkfield, the mother of Jahi McMath, told LifeSiteNews at the 2016 National Right to Life Convention that despite having received death threats for keeping Jahi alive, God — and Jahi herself — give her the strength to move forward in the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

I read that a judge ruled they could try to prove in court that Jahi is alive. Really should have ruled against this since they had the chance before and dropped it...went judge shopping, which you can't do and succeeded anyway. Problem hasn't changed, though. They still have to prove she is not brain dead. Good luck with that. That said, since they are getting their way about judge shopping and another bite at the apple, who knows these days what the outcome might be. Sad.

I wish they would just put up or shut up,they would have proved it long ago if it was provable.

No,there is a video of a machine on the Keep page.
One poster said that if there was a small leak in the tubing the machine would read that to say she is taking a breath on her own,the machine can also be manipulated by rubbing the patients chest.
Some of those posters on that page really believe that she will open her eyes and be as good as gold....that is never going to happen.

Im not buying it either, the poor girl is so bloated, its just horrible.
There is a picture of the little sister giving Jahi a kiss, you can tell by the body language that it was not her idea, she has her body pulled away from her as far as possible.

This thread has always been so hard for me to come to, the pictures of this child are so disturbing to me.

My beloved daughter was on a ventilator a little over 24 hours before she passed, it was pure hell as I watched her body deteriorate. I just cannot understand how this mother can go on seeing her daughter in this condition day after day for the last 3 years. Did I want my child to die, no, I wanted her to be at peace. *cry*

    ((Big hugs)), Aubrey!

IMO, this family is making it all about them, not Jahi. They are keeping her in this state for their own selfish reasons. How they can even look at themselves in a mirror, I don't know.

Family fights to get daughter’s death ruling reversed

    July 25, 2017

SAN FRANCISCO -- More than three years after a coroner declared a teenage girl dead, a Northern California judge is expected to decide soon whether to revoke her death certificate.

In court documents filed last month supporting the family's lawsuit to have the death certificate revoked, retired neurologist Dr. Alan Shewmon said videos recorded by Jahi McMath's family from 2014 to 2016 show the teen is still alive.

Shewmon is a longtime critic of how brain death is defined and has filed similar court papers supporting efforts by McMath's family to undo the death certificate. The family has previously shown video clips of McMath twitching her fingers, which they said showed she still has brain function.

Several doctors, including two hired by an Alameda County court, have said brain-dead patients can still twitch and move slightly.

Doctors at Children's Hospital in Oakland, California declared 13-year-old McMath brain dead in December 2013 after a routine tonsillectomy went awry.

Jahi's mother has previously acknowledged that her daughter's brain is severely and irreparably damaged. But Latasha Spears Winkfield said her daughter is still alive and her Christian belief compels her fight to keep her daughter on life support.

Lawyers for the California hospital argued in court documents that the family's attorneys have declined to turn over to them the most recent video clips Shewmon said he viewed. The lawyers also said they want copies of the videos so they can independently analyze the footage.

Hospital lawyer Jennifer Still said in a July 6 court filing that "body movements could be easily manipulated."

Still said McMath was "typically covered up with blankets" in videos previously shown by the family, making it impossible to determine if something might have been occurring under the blankets to make the body move.

"Often the camera only shows a convenient angle, such as a close up of her foot or hand," Still wrote.

Still said in an interview Monday that since the family has not subjected McMath to tests accepted by the American Medical Association to determine whether someone is brain dead.

California judge: Girl deemed brain dead may still be alive

    Sept 7, 2017

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A California judge ruled that a teen girl declared brain dead more than three years ago after a tonsillectomy may still be technically alive, allowing a malpractice lawsuit against the hospital to proceed.

Alameda County Judge Stephen Pulido ruled Tuesday that it's up to a jury to determine whether Jahi McMath is alive, which would increase the amount of damages if jurors decide in the family's favor.

The family is seeking damages from Children's Hospital in Oakland for allegedly botching a routine operation to remove the girl's tonsils in December 2013. The family is also demanding a ruling that McMath is alive and for the hospital pay for Jahi's future care. She was 13 when the operation was conducted.

Jahi was pronounced dead after the surgery and the Alameda County coroner signed a death certificate in January 2014.

Lawyers for the girl and her family did not immediately return a telephone messages left Wednesday seeking comment. A lawyer for the hospital, Thomas Still, had no immediate comment Wednesday morning but said he would comment later.

The case has been at the center of national debate over brain death since the girl's mother refused to remove her daughter from life-support after doctors declared her dead.

Her mother has previously acknowledged that her daughter's brain is severely and irreparably damaged. But Latasha Spears Winkfield said her daughter is still alive and her Christian belief compels her fight to keep her daughter on life support.

Winkfield has released video clips of Jahi's fingers twitching.

Several doctors, including two hired by an Alameda County court, have said brain-dead patients can still twitch and move slightly.

After a judge ruled that California doctors could remove the girl from life support, her mother took her to New Jersey, the only U.S. state that accommodates religions that do not recognize brain death. The girl is on life support in a New Jersey apartment, where she receives medical care.

Court records show that New Jersey Medicaid has picked up some of the girl's health care costs. The family has also received financial contributions from an online fundraising campaign.

In ordering the case to trial, Alameda County Judge Stephen Pulido relied on the testimony of well-known critic of diagnosing brain death Dr. Alan Shewmon.

In court documents filed in July, the retired neurologist said videos recorded by McMath's family from 2014 to 2016 showed the teen was still alive.

The images, some made public by the girl's relatives, show Jahi twitching her fingers and reacting to odors that Shewmon and her relatives said were noxious without providing more specifics. Shewmon said Jahi's body has not deteriorated as expected.

A doctor who examines the girl every three months for the family has testified that Jahi reached puberty and menstruated while in New Jersey.

Shewmon, a well-known critic of how experts define brain death, said Jahi is in a "minimally responsive state."
