    Vanilla Muffins

    Ingredients


    • Servings

      10-12



    • 1 cup [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 1 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], beaten
    • 2 cups [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 2 teaspoons [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 1 cup [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 14 cup melted [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 2 12 teaspoons [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 1 12 teaspoons [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    • 18 teaspoon [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]




    • Directions
      • Combine sugar and egg, beat well. Combine flour and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture, alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.
      • Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over muffins.
      • Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes.

    My son came over this morning to work on the 'dirt' pile and I fixed one of the muffins with a little butter along with a couple of sausage patties and fresh strawberries. He commented on the muffin as being 'very' good. BTW, don't know if I mentioned that I sprinkled poppy seeds on the top of the ones I made.

    I'm going to try these this week some time, the sound soooo good! Thanks for the tips on how you've made them, I'm sure your son was very appreciative .
